Athletics

Calvary Christian School believes great benefits can be gained from athletic participation. Students face the challenge of setting goals, discover the satisfaction of working towards an objective, experience the joy of competition, encounter the sense of camaraderie and encouragement that exists in a team atmosphere, and reap the reward of developing one’s God-given talent.

Calvary Chapel

praying Weekly chapel services at CCS are designed to provide opportunities for the various school divisions to engage in corporate praise and worship, and to hear relevant, Christ-centered messages. Special speakers from the local area are often invited to share inspirational messages appropriate for each grade/age level. Parents are always welcome to attend any of our chapel services.

Fine Arts

Calvary Fine Arts At CCS, we have a variety of artistic opportunities for our students. Our award-winning choirs perform in various venues and showcase our students’ musical talents throughout the year. The theater and literary arts program has received regional awards and attended state performances. Visual art classes start in preschool and continue through the high school level, allowing our students to build their artistic abilities as they grow. Student Enrichment and Morning/Afternoon Care (Extended Care)

Calvary extended care The Lower School After-Care Enrichment Program is designed to have a positive impact on our students after the school day has ended. Children have the opportunity to discover and build upon a wide range of enrichment activities that enhance their academic experience. A qualified staff of teachers and assistants will provide structured, entertaining and engaging experiences that are a perfect compliment to the child’s school day. It will continue to encourage the intellectual, spiritual, social and physical development of the students involved. The time is divided between snack time, guided instruction from a qualified teacher, supervised play, and monitored homework/Accelerated Reading time. 

Morning/After School Enrichment and After School Care Hours:
Before and After School Care Hours:
K3-5th,  7A to 8A – Before School Care
K3 and K4, 12P to 6P – After School Care
After School Enrichment Hours:
K5-5th, 2:45P to 6P – Enrichment Program and After School Care
Middle School, 3:45P to 6P – After School Care

Summer Care

The Summer program is available to upcoming K4-6th grade students. 

 

Summer Enrichment Adventures

These week-long mini-adventures allow students to focus on a particular subject or interest. These adventures are student focused, with high energy and high interest in mind. 

Soccer, Cheerleading, Science, Cooking, Robotics, Drama, STEM, Crafts, Leadership, Academic Advancement and Art are just a sampling of possiblities.
