“2015 marked an exciting year for the Calvary baseball program. We were blessed with the grand opening on our newly renovated field and brand new facilities last February. On the field we experienced great success, winning our back-to-back region championship, setting a single season school record of 24 wins, and coming up one run short in game three of the state championship. We have lost some cornerstone players from last season’s run, but we return with a very strong and hungry core. We anticipate major contributions from some new and young players. I am excited about the additions to our coaching staff, and look forward to seeing the impact they will have on our players this season. We will continue to put God at the center of everything we do and we are excited to see how He will use these young men this season. Our focus is to build off of the 39 wins in the last two seasons, win our region for the 3rd consecutive year and bring home the first Baseball State Championship in Calvary’s history. Go Knights!”
-Stephen Smith, CCS Head Baseball Coach
