I graduated in 2014 after spending 13 years at Calvary. A few things about me are: I am passionate about everything I do in life. I spend a lot of my free time learning about makeup, whether that is Special Effects makeup or just your regular everyday makeup because one day I hope to have my Professional Makeup Artist certificate.
My family, dog included, are the most important people in my life. My parents are Mike and Julie Ann Crane, and my mom is the Development Director here at CCS.
After graduating, I attended Young Harris College (YHC) in North Georgia where I
majored in Theatre Performance and minored in Dance. After graduating from YHC, I began teaching dance at Columbus School of Music and Dance and will also be teaching at Clement Arts Studio in January. I am also volunteering my time as Costume Designer for CCS’s production of Newsies.

I would say Calvary prepared me for my path in life because I spent many years in the choir with Mrs. Angie Bacon. Not only did taking dance classes since I was three years old begin my love for Theatre, but being a part of Calvary’s choir through much of my time here did as well. At Calvary, I always found myself doing something I loved whether that was being in the choir, or decorating for homecoming and prom, serving as yearbook advisor during my senior year, or simply just talking to Mr. Yarbrough about life.
My advice to CCS students is to always do what you love, no matter what people think. One of my favorite things about Calvary is that even many years after you leave, people will still be cheering you on. My future plans are to continue teaching dance and to one day to have my own studio.
